In readiness for the 2012 GBXC race series promoters Fast Eddy Racing are pleased to announce plans for the season.
Sunday's main GBXC will continue with the very popular two race format with a two hour race for Vets, Youth 13-16, Sportsman and Novice in the morning and a two and a half hour race for the Pro, Expert, Clubman 2T and Clubman 4T in the afternoon giving eight classes in total. There will be six rounds with five to count for all classes. Trophies will once again be presented at all events for the main Sunday GBXC races.
After the first round, at the Sweet Lamb Rally Complex, the GBXC Sprintcross will start with a five round series. All of the five rounds will count towards the overall championship for each class.
Now for the breaking news! Classic GBXC will start from round 4 of the series at the popular circuit of Saintswell. This will be a three round series that will run on a Saturday afternoon from 2.00pm to 4.00pm and will use the full GBXC cicruit at each round. The classes for this race will be Pre 65, Pre 75, Twinshock (including cantilevers) and Evo's up to 1990. All riders will have transponders for the race in order to be timed like all GBXC races. This is sure to create an interesting and exciting feel to the GBXC weekend. The entries for this race will be a modest £35 and they will be available on-line from this site, by email or by phone.
