Saturday's GBXC Sprint Race Format & Classic GBXC

Sprint

09:45 AM       Sighting Lap

10.00 AM - 2.00 PM      Timed Laps - Class Order

After the first timed lap riders will start the next laps in rank order, i.e. the fastest will start first and so on down in time order.  There will be a gap of 15 seconds between the start of each rider.  There will be turn around time of approximately 15 minutes per timed lap and it is the rider's responsibility to make sure that they are ready to go when called up to the start line.  We plan to run between 8 to 10 timed laps per sprint event for all classes.

Classic GBXC

2 hour race from 2.00 PM to 4.00 PM using the full GBXC course

Classes - Pre 65, Pre 75, Twinshocks (including cantilever) and Evo up to 1990.

 

Sunday GBXC Race Format

Morning Race 10.00 AM to 12.00 PM (2 Hours)

Classes:

Row 1:   Vets,  Row 2:  Youth 13-16,  Row 3:   Sportsman,  Row 4:  Novice

Riders will start with dead engines with a 30 second to one minute interval between rows.

Afternoon Race 12.30 PM to 3.00 PM (2.5 Hours)

Classes:

Row 1:  Pro,  Row 2:  Experts,  Row 3:  Clubman 2T,  Row 4:  Clubman 4T.
